Net Neutrality: What’s Mobile Got to Do With It? | Save the Internet.

As of December, the FCC has passed a new set of rules called the FCC’s Open Internet. The problem is that these new rules create a distinction between wire-line internet (home accessed internet from a computer) and mobile internet (internet access from tablets or smart phones). In the rules it states that those using wire-line internet will not be discriminated against; however, it provides no such clause in relation to mobile internet. So currently, companies such as Verizon or AT&T can block certain websites or slow down others in order to dissuaded people from using them.
